James Whitfield
Board Member
James Whitfield is a housing attorney who advises the board on landlord relations, lease law, and regulatory compliance. He has represented both tenants and community housing providers in Massachusetts for over fifteen years.
He joined the board because he kept seeing the same gap in court: people who had done everything asked of them, with nowhere stable to go next. Maya House is the answer he wanted to be able to point to.
